Hi.
I can't pretend that I know a lot about life. There are only a couple of things that I know to be absolutely true. The biggest one is that God is love. Once you experience and accept that love through Jesus, you will have a new heart. And as a person with this new heart, you are called to live differently. It is wild and crazy, scary and beautiful.
It is not often that I publicly profess my beliefs, and I do not require that you agree with me to read what I have to say. I hope that you are here because you have some of the same questions about life that I do. Questions like: Why do I have this desire for more things? How much is enough for me? What do I really need? How do I live with less? How can I become free of stuff? How can I have more time for the activities and people I love? These questions have led me to explore minimalist living, and this blog is about figuring it all out.

10 things that will help us get to know each other:
1. I love fresh flowers. Especially if they look like they were freshly cut for your garden :)
2. I don't have a garden, but as a garden designer by trade I cannot wait to own land.
3. Chocolate things and flavors are a no-go for me. You read that right, I don't like chocolate.
4. Ever heard of Kombucha? I L-O-V-E it.
5. Board games, card games, and video games galore...I am a gamer.
6. I love to read, and love to flip through home & garden magazines. Garden & Gun is one of my favorites.
7. I appreciate trends, but am typically not trendy.
8. On 4-legged friends: I want a dog so bad. Golden doodle and a rescue. Ok, I want 2 dogs.
9. Faith is a daily thing for me. Some days I am right on track, and others I struggle with doubt. I am human!
10. I am madly in love with my husband.
Why the name Homegrown Co.? I don't know. It sounds homey and cozy to me. I am in the mindset of growing a home, discovering what home means, what it looks like, and how to find peace there. What do you think? I might not be making any sense...
Disclaimer: This is my journey, and I welcome you to travel with me. What I may say or try might not be the best path for everyone. I hope that you would strive to figure out what is best for you and share it :)
